Entertainer Screencast

Hi,

I recently made a screencast to show off all the features of Entertainer.

The sound is a bit quiet so you’ll have to turn up the volume.

Entertainer May Sprint

My first patches got into entertainer this sprint. Woohoo!
With these patches 3 small bugs where squashed:
- Artists with a ‘/’ in it are now indexed correctly
- The correct lyrics are returned if there is only one song for an artist
- Removed the ‘No audio disk in drive’-ghost

Also added was a small feature. Before, you had to rename all your movie files to movie.avi and series to tv-series-2-13-Series Title.avi, where 2 is season and 13 is episode.
Now movie titles can be like this:
movie_name_keyword_something.avi *
movie.name.avi

and series titles can be like this:
Series Title_s02e10_something.something.avi
Series Title - 02×10 - something_something.avi

* The keywords currently are “[", "]“, ”~”, ”(”, ”)”, ”dvdscr”, ”dvdrip”, ”dvd-rip”, ”dvdr”, ”vcd”, ”divx”, ”xvid”, “ac3″, ”r5″, ”pal”, ”readnfo”, ”uncut”, ”cd1″, ”cd2″, ”dvdiso”

Hi everybody,

On this blog I will talk about a project I recently got involved in: Entertainer.
I’ve been developing little programs in Python for about a year now but it’s a lot more fun to work on a program in a team. I choose this program because I’m a movies and series freak and I think the user interface is incredible.
